Tech-Journo Emdadul Haque Tuhin’s Father Passed Away
Sheikh Mohammad Taij Uddin (Eskandar), father of Sarabangla.net’s Senior Correspondent Emdadul Haque Tuhin, has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un). His demise has been met with deep sorrow and condolences from the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) and the Bangladesh ICT Journalists Forum (BIJF). Additionally, DigiBangla Editor Saiful Islam Siddique has also expressed sympathy, praying for the eternal peace of the deceased and extending condolences to the bereaved family.
Taij Uddin, who was suffering from liver cirrhosis and cancer, breathed his last at 12:40 AM on Saturday (February 1) while undergoing treatment at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. He was 52 years old at the time of his passing. He leaves behind three sons, grandchildren, and numerous well-wishers. His funeral prayer was held at 11:00 AM on Sunday in Gafargaon, Mymensingh, followed by his burial at the family graveyard.
On behalf of the DRU Executive Committee, President Abu Saleh Akon and General Secretary Mainul Hasan Sohel have conveyed their deep sorrow and sympathy over the passing of their permanent member’s father. The DRU leadership prayed for the departed soul and extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.
Similarly, BIJF President Hitler A. Halim and General Secretary Sabbir Hasan have also issued an official condolence message, mourning the loss and praying for Taij Uddin’s eternal peace.
