BDApps Honors Top Performers for Outstanding Contributions
BDApps, the mobile application platform of Robi Axiata PLC, has honored the top performers of the past year in recognition of their contributions to the growth of the digital sector. The top three performers received a MacBook Air, a smartphone, and a smartwatch, respectively. Additionally, the top ten performers were awarded various technology gadgets, while all ambassadors were presented with certificates in recognition of their contributions in 2024.
Meanwhile, BDApps’ She Squad initiative has played a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of women developers. So far, 60 She Squad Leaders have trained over 1,750 women developers under this program.
The honors were presented at the “BDApps Awards Night 2024” held on Friday, January 31, at the Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka. During a press conference on Sunday, it was announced that the event was attended by Shafique Shamsur Razzak, Acting Head of Robi’s Digital VAS & New Business Division, along with Abdur Rakib, Co-founder of Programming Hero, Biplob Ghosh Rahul, Founder of eCourier Limited, and Tanim Islam, CEO of Miyaki. The event also featured discussions on the future of the technology sector, aimed at inspiring young tech entrepreneurs.
Shafique Shamsur Razzak remarked, “Such initiatives highlight the extraordinary talents of our youth. We take pride in the success of the BDApps platform and look forward to witnessing more innovations in the future.”
The Campus Ambassador program, launched in 2021, has now expanded to over 120 universities, engaging thousands of student developers with BDApps. The top-performing She Squad members of 2024 have been awarded domestic and international travel prizes, while the inclusion of 70 new She Leaders has further strengthened women’s participation in the technology sector.
