The three-day 'BARVIDA Expo 2026', organized by the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA), commenced at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on Thursday (November 5, 2026). The single-handed motor show drew enthusiasm from car enthusiasts and prospective buyers on its opening day, showcasing a diverse lineup including electric vehicles (EVs), hybrids, plug-in hybrids, sedans, SUVs, and microbuses.
Participating dealership stalls are offering special discounts and gift vouchers to visitors. Additionally, stalls set up by banks and financial institutions are providing instant information regarding auto loans and insurance, enabling visitors to complete both vehicle selection and financing consultations under one roof. A key highlight of this year's expo is a special historical installation showcasing 50 years of Japanese automobiles in Bangladesh and the evolution of automotive technology.
BARVIDA Acting President Saiful Islam and General Secretary Reaz Rahman stated that the exhibition will streamline direct buyer-seller interactions and inject momentum into the national reconditioned vehicle sector. The expo will run through November 7, remaining open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with free entry upon visitor registration.
