Advancing AI-driven public health intelligence, biometric health management, and preventive medical infrastructure, the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman, held a high-level meeting with Mark Suzman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The executive meeting took place at the Prime Minister's residence hotel in New York.
The bilateral discussion centered around strengthening Bangladesh's primary public health infrastructure, child health dynamics, affordable vaccine procurement, national immunization scaling, and preventive healthcare frameworks.
Key agenda items also included expanding grass-roots healthcare down to the Thana and District levels, recruiting and training 100,000 new healthcare personnel, creating overseas employment opportunities for certified health professionals, and deploying an AI-integrated Digital Public Healthcare System across Bangladesh.
