International Security Tech Expo Ends

The three-day International Security Expo and Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo-2026, showcasing the latest innovations in security, cybersecurity, surveillance, fire safety and workplace protection, concluded in Dhaka on Saturday.

The second edition of the exhibition brought together around 150 brands from 10 countries, along with local and international technology companies, entrepreneurs, businesses and security professionals. The event concluded on Saturday (September 19) evening at the Navaratri Hall of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

The exhibition was jointly organised by technology products and services provider i-Station Limited and the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), the trade organisation representing ICT businesses in Bangladesh. The event was held from September 17 to 19.

The exhibition featured technologies and solutions in cybersecurity, smart surveillance, access control, fire safety, automation, AIoT, emergency response, risk management and integrated security systems. It also created opportunities for technology exchange, networking and business partnerships among local manufacturers, suppliers, importers, software and cybersecurity entrepreneurs and international technology companies.

Madhusudan Saha, Managing Director of i-Station Limited, said, “The three-day event has met our expectations. The strong interest and participation of local and international participants demonstrate that new opportunities are emerging in Bangladesh’s cybersecurity and security sectors. The successful completion of the event will inspire us to organise larger exhibitions in the future. We believe the exhibition has opened doors to new business relationships, partnerships and cooperation. We want to continue this momentum and play a more effective role in developing the country’s security technology sector.”

Sharing his experience of participating in the exhibition for the first time, Saiful Islam Siddiq, Managing Director of ICC Communications Limited and Senior Vice-President of ISPAB, said, “We received a good response from visitors, corporate representatives and businesses to TCL night-vision security cameras. Many placed advance orders and showed interest in taking dealerships. We have started offering dealerships across the country.”

Mandy Shu, Sales Manager of Shenzhen Newbridge Communication Equipment Co. Ltd., said, “Our experience at the exhibition was excellent. We received strong interest and enthusiasm from people in Bangladesh towards Chinese products. Over the three days, we established commercial contacts with more than 260 traders and delegates. The event increased our brand visibility. We hope to develop new customers, business opportunities and long-term relationships in Bangladesh.”

Rony Saha, General Manager of Smart Safety and Automation Limited, said, “International Security Expo-2026 is an important platform for us. From the beginning, we received a better-than-expected response. Visitors showed interest in security, surveillance, fire and safety, automation and integrated solutions. Live demonstrations gave us an opportunity to understand customer requirements. Such events help create new business opportunities and long-term relationships.”

Rika, Sales Manager of EBKN, who participated from China with the company’s software solutions, said, “Bangladesh is a promising country. People’s understanding of technology needs to grow in line with rapid technological development. More events like this are necessary. All the leaflets, brochures and business cards we brought to the exhibition ran out. We received a response beyond our expectations. We would like to participate in such events in the future as well.”

Sadman Sakib, Business Development Manager of Bdcom Online Limited, said, “International Security Expo-2026 has been a unique experience for us. We showcased cyber defence, EMS and SmartTracker vehicle-tracking solutions. We launched EMS to provide internationally standard services through local technology. Our participation played an important role in networking, brand visibility and creating new business opportunities.”

Al Shahriar, Project Design Engineer at Hikvision Bangladesh, said, “We received a strong response after showcasing AIoT security solutions. We had the opportunity to exchange views with customers on smart education, smart traffic and intelligent facilities. The positive feedback will encourage us to provide more advanced services in the future.”

Andy Sun, Project Head for South Asia at Dahua Technology Co. Ltd., said, “The well-organised and visually appealing event attracted visitors. The BCS initiative to develop the country’s security technology sector is commendable. We hope such events will be organised on a larger scale in the future.”

Riaz Ahmed, Creative Brand Manager of Computer City Technologies Limited, said, “Participating in International Security Expo-2026 for the second time was a pleasant experience for us. We thank the fair committee for the well-planned event. We participated with seven international security solution brands and received a strong response. The event not only increased public awareness of security technology but also created opportunities to connect with dealers, corporate organisations and stakeholders and develop new business relationships.”

According to organiser information, around 150 leading brands from 10 countries participated in the three-day exhibition, alongside more than 500 security and safety professionals. Organisers had earlier expected around 5,000 trade visitors.

The exhibition went beyond product displays, providing a platform for technology exchange, live demonstrations, commercial networking, dealership opportunities and potential partnerships. Organisers said such initiatives could contribute to stronger cooperation between local and international companies and support the development of Bangladesh’s security and safety technology sector.
