Addressing sophisticated attack vectors, automated malware threats, and high-tech criminal intrusions, global cybersecurity firm Kaspersky and the Vietnamese government have entered into a strategic technical partnership.

Under the framework, both entities agreed to institutionalize regular exchanges of technical threat data, digital forensics expertise, and specialized security engineering to prevent, detect, and mitigate complex cyberattacks. Operating in Vietnam for nearly two decades alongside government bodies and enterprises, Kaspersky expanded its operational base by opening an official hub in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.

On 13 September, Kaspersky Bangladesh informed thru a PR that the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed on Tuesday, September 8. Denis Davydov, Senior Vice President for Government Relations at Kaspersky, and Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Manh Tung, Deputy Director of Vietnam's Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, endorsed the pact on behalf of their respective institutions.

"Multi-stakeholder technical alliances remain essential to building systemic digital resilience amid sophisticated threat dynamics," Denis Davydov stated. He emphasized that the partnership directly reinforces defensive capacity, operational forensics, and Vietnam’s technical security posture against emerging cyber hazards.

Lieutenant Colonel Trieu Manh Tung affirmed that accelerating digital transition requires uncompromising data integrity and defensive readiness. "Cooperation with Kaspersky delivers specialized international threat intelligence to preempt automated breaches while instilling strong security engineering benchmarks across public institutions," he concluded.
