realme Introduces ‘One-Hour Service’ for Smartphone Repairs in Bangladesh
realme has introduced a service initiative in Bangladesh that repairs issues with phones sold through its customer care centres within 60 minutes. The smartphone brand launched the ‘1 Hour Service’ initiative earlier, pledging to make the overall smartphone usage experience simpler and more convenient.
According to recent service performance data released by realme, nearly 97 percent of customers visiting its official service centres receive complete servicing of their devices within just one hour.
In this process, the entire duration—from the moment a device is submitted at the service desk until it is returned to the customer—is counted as the “servicing time.” As a result, the complete repair process is completed within 60 minutes.
The smartphone manufacturer said this efficiency has been made possible through real-time SLA monitoring by the service team, efficient spare parts management, and regular technical skill development for engineers.
Commenting on the initiative, Md. Al-Mamun Biswas, After-Sales Operations Manager of realme Bangladesh, said, “One-Hour Service is not merely a target for us; it is an operational commitment. From the moment customers submit their devices for servicing until they receive them back, we measure the entire time with precision. Alongside repairing phones, valuing customers’ time equally remains our key objective.”
Customers have already begun to benefit from the service. Recently, a customer who visited a service centre in Dhaka with a display-related issue said he initially expected the repair to take several days. However, the phone was repaired and returned within just 50 minutes, leaving him satisfied with the speed and quality of the service.
