‘Chandabaaj’ Website Launched to Report Extortion Nationwide
The website chandabaaj.com went live on Wednesday afternoon, February 11. According to available information, eight reports from different parts of the country have already been submitted through the platform. The submitted reports will be thoroughly verified by the concerned authorities, who will then take the necessary steps for legal action against those involved.
To curb extortion across the country, Nasir Uddin Patwary, the 11-party alliance–nominated candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency and Chief Coordinator of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has launched the website named “Chandabaaj.”
Nasir Uddin Patwary said that if any incident of extortion occurs in a local area, people should immediately submit a report with appropriate information and evidence without delay. This, he said, will help identify offenders and facilitate legal action against them.
He further stated, “In the Bangladesh we aspire to build, there is no place for extortionists.”
