Global smartphone brand Infinix showcased its latest mobile innovations at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2026, one of the world’s largest international technology exhibitions, unveiling a concept phone equipped with satellite-based calling and messaging capabilities.

According to Infinix, the technology supports two-way voice calls and standard text messaging via satellite. Users can place calls using speaker mode or through Bluetooth devices. The feature has been designed with real-life scenarios in mind, including natural disasters, poor connectivity in rural areas, and outdoor use—contexts that are particularly relevant for many regions of Bangladesh.

Infinix also announced that its upcoming Note 60 series smartphones will incorporate this satellite communication feature. The company expects the series to make advanced connectivity technologies more accessible to mainstream users.

Beyond satellite communication, Infinix presented several other innovations at CES 2026. These include a new liquid cooling system designed to keep smartphones cool during intensive activities such as gaming, video streaming, or AI-driven workloads. The brand also showcased a modular AI accessory system that allows users to attach various add-ons for content creation, enhanced productivity, and additional battery support.

In terms of design and user experience, Infinix introduced its Active Visual Backplate technology, which adds subtle visual effects to the rear of the smartphone without consuming extra battery power. The company also displayed a range of accessories, including a wireless magnetic controller aimed at mobile gaming enthusiasts.
