Mini Marvel: Gigabyte Unveils Mighty Mini-ITX Motherboard

The demand for powerful desktop performance in compact spaces is growing rapidly. To meet this increasing need, computer hardware manufacturer Gigabyte has unveiled a mini-ITX motherboard measuring just 17 × 17 centimeters. The Gigabyte B850I AORUS PRO (Mini-ITX) motherboard has now been introduced to the local market by Gigabyte Bangladesh.

On Thursday, November 13, Gigabyte Bangladesh officials stated that the new motherboard is easily installable even in small cases. “Whether you want a living room PC, a home theater setup, or a compact gaming rig, this could be an excellent choice,” they added.

Khaja Md. Anas Khan, Country Manager of Gigabyte, said, “This motherboard is available in the local market through Gigabyte’s authorized distributor, Smart Technologies (BD) Limited. It is now on sale at various IT retailers and online platforms across Bangladesh. The price has been set at approximately BDT 43,000.”

According to the manufacturer, despite its small size, the motherboard is engineered with advanced technology for gaming, creative work, and high-performance PC builds. The Mini-ITX form-factor motherboard features an AMD AM5 socket, supporting the latest AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. It includes two DDR5 DIMM slots, supporting up to 128GB of RAM.

For storage, it offers a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, and two SATA 6Gb/s ports, allowing users to use ultra-fast SSDs alongside conventional HDDs simultaneously. In terms of connectivity, the motherboard provides Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5 Gigabit LAN, ensuring fast and stable internet connections. Additionally, the I/O panel is equipped with USB Type-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort ports, offering a comprehensive interface for users.
