YUNET & Orange Corners Empower Emerging Innovators
Youth Upskill Network (YUNET) and Orange Corners Bangladesh, operated by YY Ventures, will collaborate in Bangladesh to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth capacity building. The initiative is set to begin in November.
To formalize the collaboration, a bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on October 28 at the YY Ventures office in the Grameen Telecom building, Mirpur, Dhaka. Under the agreement, aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators will initially receive grooming and mentorship, with the first cohort running for two months. A pilot program is expected by mid-next year.
The MoU was signed by Muhammad Altamish Nabil, Co-founder and CEO of Youth Upskill Network, and Osman Dhali, Chief Operating Officer of YY Ventures, on behalf of Orange Corners Bangladesh. Present at the ceremony were Mahir Asef from Youth Upskill Network, and Fariha Tabassum, Shafadul Islam, and Fairana Afsana representing Orange Corners Bangladesh.
The strategic partnership has been facilitated under the Global Public-Private Initiative of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aiming to provide young entrepreneurs with quality mentorship, training, and funding opportunities. Both organizations will also work jointly to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and startup development across different regions of Bangladesh.
