Green TV Gains: Satellite Service Secured
Green Multimedia Limited’s channel, Green TV, is set to resume broadcast shortly following the signing of a new satellite transmission agreement with Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL) on Thursday, 16 October.
The contract signing ceremony took place at BSCL’s headquarters, attended by BSCL Managing Director and CEO Dr. Imadur Rahman and Green TV Managing Director Kausar Ahmed Apu.
Also present were BSCL General Manager (Sales & Marketing) Shah Ahmedul Kabir and Senior Manager Md. Shafiul Azam. From Green Multimedia Limited, the event was attended by Rainbow Group Vice Chairman Mehedi Hasan Dipu and Green TV Head of News Mahmud Hasan.
Green TV’s satellite broadcast had been temporarily suspended earlier due to unpaid dues. Following resolution of the outstanding payments, the channel is now set to resume transmission under the new agreement.
