Canva Commences $42 Billion Share Sale
Australian graphic design platform Canva has launched an employee share sale initiative at a valuation of $42 billion, Reuters reported.
According to Bloomberg News, this initiative will allow employees to sell their shares to both new and existing investors. Among the participating investors are Fidelity Management and Research Company and the asset management division of JPMorgan.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Sydney, Canva currently offers a wide range of design services, including posters, social media graphics, and presentations. The platform enables users to work easily with pre-designed templates as well as generative AI tools.
Canva reached its peak valuation of $40 billion in 2021. Today, the platform has over 200 million monthly active users across 190 countries. Last year, the company generated $2.5 billion in annual revenue.
