Huawei Named Leader in 2025 Gartner LAN Report

Huawei has once again secured its position in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant of the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure, continuing its three-year streak in the prestigious list. The announcement was made on Tuesday, July 15, by Huawei Bangladesh. Notably, this year Huawei remains the only vendor outside North America to earn a spot in the Leaders quadrant.
According to the statement, Huawei introduced the industry’s first five-radio Wi-Fi 7 access point (AP) in 2025. By integrating technologies such as Intelligent Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) and Intelligent Coordinated Scheduling and Spatial Reuse (ICSSR), the company has brought Wi-Fi 8-like innovations into its Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure, significantly enhancing wireless service quality. Utilizing a fusion of Wi-Fi, IoT, and sensing technologies, Huawei ensures blind-spot-free connectivity while reducing the total cost of ownership by up to 50%.
Huawei has also enhanced its Wi-Fi Shield technology, now available across 13 AP models. These are optimized for a wide range of deployment scenarios—from indoor residential and outdoor environments to high-density IoT ecosystems. With features such as secure terminal access, fine-grained policy control, and Wi-Fi Channel State Information (CSI) sensing, Huawei is committed to ensuring top-tier network security.
To support seamless collaboration in audio/video communications, cloud desktops, and office teamwork, Huawei deploys several AI-driven technologies including iSAC, iScheduler, and iFlow. In addition, VIP Fastpass and Per-Packet Power Control technologies ensure high-quality performance for critical services.
Huawei's architecture, based on its "One Map, One Brain" model, combines Digital Network Map and NetMaster AI Agent, enabling extremely efficient operations. The system can understand natural language commands, resolve up to 80% of wireless issues autonomously, and allows a single engineer to manage a campus network with over 10,000 users effectively.
Huawei’s consistent inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant’s Leader group reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in enterprise networking solutions.
