Gigabyte Gears Up with AI Gaming Laptop A16 in Bangladesh
Taiwanese tech brand Gigabyte has officially launched its AI-powered gaming laptop, the Gigabyte A16, in the Bangladeshi market through its local distributor, Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd. The unveiling took place during a vibrant dealer meet held at a hotel in Dhaka on Wednesday, June 25.
According to a press release issued on June 26, Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Smart Technologies and newly elected President of the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), unveiled the laptop's packaging during the event.
Also present were Alan Su, Senior Deputy Manager of Gigabyte Asia Pacific; Zafar Ahmed, Distribution Business Director of Smart Technologies; Mujahid Al Beruni Sujan, Channel Sales Director; and Khaja Md. Anas Khan, Country Manager of Gigabyte Bangladesh.
Distributor sources confirmed that the Gigabyte A16 is equipped with a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor and an AI-supported NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. The laptop features 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB Gen 4 SSD, aiming to deliver a powerful AI-enhanced gaming experience to Bangladeshi users.
