The nationwide "Digital Campaign Season-22" by electronics giant Walton has brought life-changing rewards to customers, with one lucky buyer, Russell Fakir, winning one million taka after purchasing a Walton refrigerator on an installment plan. Russell, a college student from Charbhadrasan, Faridpur, and his family were overwhelmed with joy upon receiving the unexpected windfall just before Eid.

The prize-giving ceremony took place on March 4, 2025, at the Charbhadrasan Model School field, where renowned Bangladeshi film actor Amin Khan handed over a check for one million taka to Russell. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Walton’s Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed, Charbhadrasan Police Officer-in-Charge Raziullah Khan, Gazirtek Union Chairman Eakub Ali, freedom fighter Abul Kalam, Charbhadrasan Market Traders’ Association President Alomgir Hossain Mollah, Walton Plaza Chief Sales Executive Wahiduzzaman Tanvir, Chief Divisional Officer Al Mahfuz Khan, and Walton Plaza Charbhadrasan Manager Tarikul Islam.

Russell Fakir, son of daily wage worker Razzab Fakir, is a second-year undergraduate student at  Govenment Rajendra College. He married recently and purchased a Walton refrigerator on February 25 from a Walton Plaza outlet, paying 11,500 taka as a down payment for a fridge priced at 41,790 taka. After completing the digital registration, which required submitting his name, mobile number, and product details, he was astonished to receive a message from Walton notifying him of his one-million-taka reward.

Expressing his gratitude, Russell Fakir said, "I could never have imagined that buying a refrigerator would change my fortune. Thanks to Walton, many of my dreams will now come true. With this money, I plan to start a business and ensure financial stability for my family. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Walton."

Speaking at the event, actor Amin Khan praised Walton’s contributions beyond business, stating, "Walton is not just a commercial entity; it actively contributes to the country's socio-economic development. Today, Russell Fakir has won one million taka as part of Walton’s commitment to its customers. The campaign is ongoing nationwide, and I encourage everyone to purchase products from trusted brands like Walton. Hard-earned money should not be wasted on non-branded products. To support our national economy, we must buy internationally certified products made in Bangladesh. Today's event is proof that Walton keeps its promises to customers."

Walton’s Digital Campaign Season-22 continues across the country, offering customers exciting opportunities while reinforcing its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
