Volkswagen Recalls 60,490 Vehicles in the U.S. Over Gear Display Issue

Volkswagen is recalling 60,490 vehicles in the United States due to a potential issue where the gear position may not be accurately displayed. This defect could increase the risk of unintended vehicle movement if the parking brake is not engaged, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on Saturday. The news was reported by Reuters.
The recall includes 2021-2023 ID.4 models, 2022-2023 Audi Q4 e-Tron, and Q4 e-Tron Sportback vehicles. Volkswagen has taken this decision due to the identified safety flaw, as confirmed by the company.
