Organized by the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA), the exhibition concludes on Saturday, November 7. The event allows visitors to compare automobile technology, safety specifications, and pricing for new, used, and reconditioned vehicles directly without middlemen.
The exhibition features advanced hybrid and fuel-efficient models including Toyota Prius, Corolla Cross, Harrier, Noah, Voxy, and Alphard, alongside fuel-driven and fully electric cars from GSC Motor.
The exhibition showcases various attractive Toyota models including Prius, Corolla Cross, Harrier, Noah, Voxy, and Alphard. Jaber Elias, a visitor from Gulshan, commented that while the opportunity to see cars under one roof was good, the number of vehicles seemed somewhat less compared to YouTube, and the prices of new Chinese brand cars felt a bit high.
Md. Sujon, a representative from a showroom in Mohakhali, stated that despite the good environment, it would take time to build recognition as they are new, but they have sold two cars in the past two weeks.
Mohammad Irfan Billah, Executive at GSC Motors, mentioned that they offer all types of cars, including petrol-powered and full electric, and customers can easily compare options since everything is available under one roof.
Mehedi Hasan Molla, Brand and Marketing Manager at ICCB, informed that this is the ninth episode of the Super Sale Car market and the first event of the third month, which has received an excellent response from day one. He also added that they plan to include commercial vehicles alongside motorcycles in the future. The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the turnout of buyers and sellers and car deliveries since morning, indicating their expectations were met.
Earlier on Thursday, November 5, BARVIDA President Abdul Haque urged policymakers to eliminate discriminatory import duties on Japanese reconditioned vehicles during the inaugural session. He stated that encouraging the import of 660cc Japanese 'Kei cars' could provide a safer, modern alternative to hazardous battery-operated rickshaws in urban areas.
Former Presidents Abdul Mannan Chowdhury Khasru and Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, along with former Secretary General Mahabul Haque Chowdhury, addressed the opening session moderated by BARVIDA Secretary General Reaz Rahman. ICCB Brand and Marketing Manager Mehedi Hasan Molla noted that following the strong response to the Super Sale Car Bazaar, plans are underway to introduce commercial vehicles alongside motorcycles in future editions.
