Salaries to Go via EFT
- Institutions must submit bills by 3pm on September 18
- Monthly salary bills must be processed through TEMIS
- Heads of institutions will bear liability for incorrect data
The Directorate of Technical Education has instructed private MPO-listed educational institutions to submit their September salary bills by September 18 for payment through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). Institution heads must complete the online submission by 3pm that day.
The instruction was issued in a notice published by the MPO branch of the Directorate of Technical Education on Sunday, September 13.
According to the notice, institution heads must log in to the TEMIS software and select the ‘Monthly Salary Submission’ option to submit the September MPO bill. They must then process the bill according to the prescribed procedure.
The authorities have also asked institutions to update any changes in the employment status of teachers and employees. Changes related to death, resignation or retirement must be updated through the ‘EFT Employee Status Change’ option.
If salary deductions are required because of temporary suspension or unauthorised absence, the information must be mentioned when submitting the bill.
The Directorate said the information provided by the head of the institution will be considered final for sending salaries and allowances through EFT.
Therefore, if any problem arises because of incorrect information, the concerned institution head will bear full responsibility, the notice said.
