Humanoid Robot Captivates Bashundhara City

The fascination with robotics and Artificial Intelligence has once again taken center stage in Bangladesh's tech landscape. Recalling the massive excitement stirred by 'Sophia' the robot back in 2017, global AI device ecosystem brand HONOR has brought back that iconic thrill to Dhaka with its captivating Humanoid Robot, debuting at a three-day 'Experience Zone' in Bashundhara City Shopping Complex.

Running from July 30 to August 1, the event has become a bustling hub for technology enthusiasts. The showstopper of the venue is undeniably HONOR's Humanoid Robot, which created global headlines when it was first unveiled earlier at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026.

A Flashback to Sophia: Engaging the Next-Gen Humanoid
While Sophia’s visit years ago allowed people to glimpse the future of AI from afar, HONOR’s Experience Zone at Bashundhara City offers visitors an up-close, interactive experience. Visitors are engaging in conversations, shaking hands, and snapping selfies with the state-of-the-art robot. Its fluid human-like expressions and natural conversational responses are evoking fond memories of Sophia while demonstrating how far AI engineering has evolved.

Engineering Marvel: HONOR Magic V6
Accompanying the humanoid robot is HONOR's latest flagship innovation—the HONOR Magic V6. Measuring a mere 8.75mm in thickness when folded, it currently holds the crown as the world's thinnest foldable smartphone.

Crafted with aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and an ultra-durable 'Super Steel Hinge', the Magic V6 seamlessly blends extreme lightness with structural resilience. To showcase its durability, HONOR is hosting a live 'Hinge Test Challenge' at the venue. Visitors can pre-order the HONOR Magic V6 directly from the Experience Zone through August 1 and participate in interactive contests to win exclusive gifts.

Comprehensive AIoT Ecosystem Display
Beyond smartphones and robotics, the event features a range of smart wearable devices designed to elevate modern lifestyle experiences:

• HONOR Watch 5 Ultra: A premium smartwatch equipped with advanced fitness and wellness tracking.
• HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip 2 Pro: Open-ear clip design delivering ergonomic comfort and high-fidelity sound.
• HONOR Earbuds 4: Featuring smart Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for immersive audio experiences.

The HONOR Experience Zone at Bashundhara City offers a glimpse into a future where humans and AI seamlessly coexist. For tech lovers and families alike, it presents an unprecedented opportunity to touch, test, and interact with tomorrow's technology today.
