Hasnat Abdullah’s ‘Red Card’ Facebook Post Goes Viral
Hasnat Abdullah, Member of Parliament from the Cumilla-4 constituency and a leader of the NCP, has “shown a red card” on Facebook.
He made the post on Monday night, 27 April. Although he did not specify whom or why the “red card” was shown, the post went viral within moments.
Within 10 minutes of being published, the post received more than half a hundred thousand reactions. Within an hour, it had been shared several thousand times. The comments section was also flooded with a range of critical and sarcastic remarks.
Based on those comments, it is being speculated that the NCP leader delivered this message following the announcement of a decision to provide LPG cards to mothers and sisters, similar to the Family Card initiative.
