Realme Readies Record-Battery Smartphone
Smartphone maker Realme is reportedly bringing the dream of a massive battery phone closer to reality. Rumors suggest that a new device with a 10,000 mAh battery could hit the market later this month. The device, identified by model number RMX5107, has recently been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website in India, according to GSM Arena.
An industry leak suggests that the phone could be part of Realme’s “P” series and may be unveiled in India toward the end of this month.
Earlier online reports indicate that the RMX5107 will feature a 10,001 mAh battery. This would mark a significant leap for Realme, which has never released a smartphone with a battery capacity of 8,000 mAh or more. The company recently launched the Realme P4X in India, equipped with a 7,000 mAh battery.
Separately, the Realme Neo8, set to launch in China on January 22, is rumored to come with an 8,000 mAh battery.
More details about the new Realme device are expected to surface soon.
