Popular instant messaging app WhatsApp has introduced three new features aimed at making group chats more effective and organized. With these updates, users will gain added convenience in defining roles, exchanging messages, and managing events within groups, according to GSM Arena.

The report says the new Member Tag feature allows users to set specific roles for themselves separately in each group, helping clarify identities in office, family, or friends’ groups.

Alongside this, WhatsApp has rolled out a Text Sticker feature, enabling users to instantly turn any text into a sticker and save it directly to their personal sticker pack. This addition is expected to make creative expression easier and more engaging.

The third update is the Event Reminder feature, which lets users set advance notifications for events created within a group. This will reduce the chances of forgetting meetings, programs, or planned gatherings.

These new updates are being rolled out gradually for both Android and iOS users.

WhatsApp said the changes were introduced to make the group experience more organized, interactive, and user-friendly, adding that they hope the updates will make everyday communication more lively. Experts believe these features will play an important role in saving time and improving coordination in group management in the future.
