IAB Build Expo 2025 Showcases Advanced Earthquake-Resilient Construction Technologies

The IAB Build Expo 2025 is underway at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, with participation from architects, construction professionals, and engineers. The three-day expo features a wide range of construction materials and technologies, including earthquake-resilient steel, tiles, glass, and other structural components. The event, which began on 11 December, will conclude on 13 December.

Throughout the expo, GPH Ispat has showcased various advanced technologies designed to enhance seismic resilience and improve construction efficiency. Exhibits include seismic base isolation, high-grade steel production, rebar fabrication, modern connection and jointing systems, as well as precast and post-tensioning solutions. Visitors are learning how these technologies can make modern construction stronger, safer, and more sustainable for the future.

At the event, GPH Ispat engaged with professionals from multiple sectors, discussing real-world applications of these technologies, their long-term benefits, and their potential impact on public and private infrastructure projects.
