Premium Power and Precision: Chery Launches Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV in Dhaka
Chery has introduced its new hybrid sports vehicle, the Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV, combining elegance, performance and eco-conscious engineering. The model measures 4,810 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,741 mm in height, and features 20-inch polished alloy wheels along with a distinctive tiger-eye patterned grille. It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine integrated with plug-in hybrid AWD technology and an 8-speed Aisin Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT). The vehicle is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 5.7 seconds.
Enhanced comfort features include seats equipped with heating, cooling, and massage functions, dual-zone climate control, a sliding panoramic roof, and a heated steering wheel.
The new model, reflecting a balance of luxury, powerful performance, and environmentally sustainable innovation, was officially unveiled at Chery’s showroom in the Tejgaon Industrial Area on Sunday, November 9.
The launch event was attended by Dewan Sajedur Rahman, Managing Director of Asian MotorspeX Limited, Director Dewan Saeedur Rahman, and Chery Bangladesh’s Head of Sales Abu Mahmud Naser, among other senior officials.
According to Dewan Sajedur Rahman, each vehicle will come with a complimentary 22 kW home fast charger to facilitate convenient charging at home. The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV will also be offered with a warranty of up to eight years or 160,000 kilometres (terms and conditions apply), along with a buy-back facility.
