Career Pro BD's Cyber Safety Seminar Spreads Social Sense at AIUB
Carrying the message “Let’s build a better cyber society,” the Cyber Security and Social Awareness Program 2025 was held at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB).
The event was organized by Career Pro BD — an organization dedicated to youth skill development — under the initiative of the ICT Division and sponsored by Amber IT.
According to the organizers, over four hundred AIUB students participated in the event, which aimed to enhance cyber security awareness and social responsibility among the youth. Around three hundred students registered in advance, while others joined through on-spot registration.
Career Pro BD announced that all participating students would receive an e-certificate for completing the cyber training session. The program was organized for the fourth consecutive year with support from AIUB Computer Hub, OSA AIUB, Uni Global, and Ahmed Foods.
As special guest, Manzur Mohammad Shahriar, Project Director of DEIID under the Hi-Tech Park Authority of the ICT Division, said, “Such awareness programs are very timely, and I would like to thank Career Pro BD for taking this initiative. The government is taking multifaceted steps to ensure cyber security and formulating related laws and regulations. We appreciate initiatives that promote cyber safety and awareness.”
Among others present were AIUB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saiful Islam; Career Pro BD Adviser Laila Nazneen; President of Trainers Association of Bangladesh Dr. K. M. Hasan Ripon; Chief Operating Officer of Texas Team Group Mohammad Murad Hossain; COO of Creative Business Group Zia Uddin Mahmud; cyber security expert and trainer G. M. Faruk Ahmed; social media content creator and influencer Sadman Sadik; Senior Officer of Amber IT Al Islam; and Head of Operations at Synesis IT Hafizullah.
