Samsung Secures ‘Real Quantum Dot Display’ Certification for QLED TVs
Samsung’s QLED TVs have received the ‘Real Quantum Dot Display’ certification from TÜV Rheinland, the Germany-based international certification authority. Quantum dot semiconductors, composed of ultra-fine particles, produce purer and more vibrant colors. The technology also ensures 100% color volume while reducing excessive blue light, making television viewing more comfortable.
With this technology, Samsung QLED TVs deliver uniform brightness across the screen, ensuring consistent colors from all viewing angles.
Speaking on the achievement, Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director and Head of Business, Samsung Consumer Electronics Division, said, “At Samsung, we are always working to enhance our customers’ TV viewing experience. Additionally, Samsung’s quantum dot technology has also earned international recognition from the General Society of Surveillance (SGS), another global verification authority.
