DUET Ex-BNP Student Association (DEJA) Forms 151-Member Full Committee
The DUET Ex-Bangladesh Nationalist Students’ Association (DEJA) has announced a 151-member full-fledged central committee, aiming to strengthen the alumni network and enhance organizational activities.
In the newly announced body, Engineer Ruhul Alam has been elected as the President, Engineer A.K.M. Asaduzzaman Chunnu as the General Secretary, and Engineer Mohabbat Hossain as the Organizing Secretary.
The committee was officially formed on Monday, August 18, at the DUET Alumni Association office in Ramna, Dhaka. Senior leadership also appointed Engineer A.K.M. Zahirul Islam Zahir as the Chief Patron of the association.
The formation ceremony was attended by former presidents, general secretaries, and senior leaders of DEJA. They unanimously approved the new committee, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong unity among former members of the Bangladesh Nationalist Students’ Organization at DUET.
In their speeches, the newly appointed leaders expressed gratitude to the senior members for their trust and confidence. They pledged to uphold mutual brotherhood, transparency, and accountability while working for the welfare of the association and its members.
Leaders also highlighted that the new committee will focus on strengthening alumni engagement, supporting current students of DUET, and contributing to professional and social development initiatives in the coming years.
