BSCL Seeks Starlink Service Reseller Partners

The Bangladesh Satellite Company Limited (BSCL), under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from licensed ISPs, cable TV operators, and ICT or electronics equipment manufacturers/suppliers/distributors (with relevant licenses and experience) for the appointment of “Reseller Partners” in satellite-based internet services.

Applicants must have the financial capacity to make a minimum pre-payment of BDT 30 crore, which will be adjustable against future purchases.

In addition to operating its own satellite, BSCL has recently been appointed as the Bangladeshi distributor for the promotion, operation, and implementation of Starlink products and services in the country.

BSCL stated that the selected Reseller Partners will, “undertake the promotion of Starlink services, installation and post-installation support, revenue collection, and other contractual responsibilities at their own capacity.” Interested parties must submit their applications by 5:00 PM on August 27.

Applicants must submit copies of relevant regulatory licenses (BTRC, BTV, etc.), a valid trade license, the latest tax return along with a copy of the TIN, VAT registration certificate, the company’s audited reports for the last two years, proof of at least two years of operations in the relevant industry, a client or customer list, details of the sales and technical support teams, and proof of financial capacity for a pre-payment of BDT 30 crore from an approved bank.
