PriyoShop Partners with BRAC Bank to Offer Collateral-Free Loans for Retailers

Mudi (grocery) retailers can now access collateral-free loans directly through the B2B platform and PriyoShop app, thanks to a new partnership between PriyoShop and BRAC Bank PLC.

On June 22, PriyoShop announced that the agreement had been recently formalized in a signing ceremony attended by Syed Abdul Momen, Additional Managing Director and Head of SME Banking at BRAC Bank, and Ashiqur Alam Khan, Founder and CEO of PriyoShop.

Speaking on the collaboration, Syed Abdul Momen stated, “Through this partnership, we are committed to advancing financial inclusion in an innovative way. By integrating digital loan processing into PriyoShop’s ecosystem, we have reduced the complexity of financial transactions and opened the doors of formal credit for small businesses across the country. This model has the potential to redefine rural entrepreneurship.”

Ashiqur Alam Khan, Founder and CEO of PriyoShop, said, “The key to sustaining small businesses is easy access to loans. Yet most micro-retailers in Bangladesh still remain deprived of this opportunity.
