Oppo Optimizes Outdoors with All-Terrain A5x Smartphone

Oppo has officially launched its latest smartphone, the A5x (4GB+64GB), in the Bangladesh market on Thursday, pricing it at an affordable BDT 14,990.

According to Oppo, the A5x is designed to be resilient and reliable for outdoor users, featuring IP65-rated protection against water and dust. It also includes an innovative Water Splash Touch technology, allowing users to interact with the screen even when it’s wet — minimizing false touches. This ensures a seamless experience even in light rain or with wet hands. The phone also supports glove touch, catering to users who wear gloves while riding motorcycles or working outdoors.

The device features an Outdoor Mode, which offers ultra-clear visibility under direct sunlight, making it an ideal choice for those who spend extended hours outside.

In terms of durability, Oppo claims the A5x is equipped with military-grade drop resistance, 14-star certification, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and SGS Gold Certification — a combination rarely found in this price segment. This makes the phone more resistant to accidental drops and other daily hazards, providing peace of mind to users.

Moreover, the A5x is packed with flagship-level AI features uncommon in entry-level smartphones. It includes an upgraded photography experience with:

• AI Eraser 2.0 for removing unwanted elements from photos,

• AI Unblur to sharpen blurry images,

• AI Clarity Enhancer for more refined shots,
