BDApps Begins 'Innovation Summit 2025' to Empower Young Developers
BDApps has officially launched the Innovation Summit 2025, a nationwide competition aimed at empowering young developers and technology enthusiasts to showcase their digital solutions across various sectors. The summit will be held in multiple phases.
Interested participants can register and submit their ideas through the event's official website. After an evaluation process, top teams will be selected to compete in the grand finale scheduled for June 19. The total prize pool for the competition stands at BDT 5 lakh. All winners will also receive certificates and integration into the BDApps ecosystem.
The event was formally inaugurated on Monday (May 5) at the Robi Corporate Office in Dhaka. Brigadier General S M Moniruzzaman, Director General of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), officially launched the BDApps Innovation Summit 2025 website. Other key attendees included Shihab Ahmad, Chief Commercial Officer of Robi Axiata PLC; Shahed Alam, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer; and Shafik Shamsur Razzak, General Manager.
During the ceremony, it was highlighted that BDApps is a digital initiative of Robi Axiata, now one of the leading mobile app development platforms in the country. The platform offers local developers tools, resources, and support to transform innovative solutions into reality.
Brigadier General S M Moniruzzaman remarked, “This initiative will stimulate innovative thinking and a greater interest in technology among the youth. I believe such efforts will strengthen our digital progress and accelerate innovation-led development.”
Shihab Ahmad added, “BDApps is committed to driving innovation forward and building a strong digital future for Bangladesh. This platform enables the youth to propose digital ideas that address real-world challenges in education, health, agriculture, climate change, and beyond.”
