WhatsApp Introduces Emoji Reactions and Hand-Raising in Video Calls
WhatsApp’s latest Android beta version has introduced emoji reactions and a hand-raising feature for video calls. This update was first identified by Android Authority, according to a report by The Verge.
Similar to Google Meet, WhatsApp now allows users to use specific emoji reactions during video calls, including the thumbs-up and heart emojis. However, these options are not directly visible and are instead placed within a three-dot menu.
The feature is still in its testing phase, and there is no official timeline for its rollout to all users.
