Training is Key to Human Resource Development: CUET VC
Training plays a vital role in human resource development and is essential for professionals in all types of organizations, regardless of their size, stated Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). He emphasized this during his address as the chief guest at a training session titled “Training on Continuing Professional Development for Officers”, organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of CUET on Wednesday in the Academic Council Hall.
Dr. Bhuiyan remarked, “Training enhances the ability of employees to find solutions to any problem with ease using their acquired knowledge. However, to achieve the objectives of training, the selection of subjects must align with participants’ enthusiasm, interests, and passion for learning.”
The session featured M. Aminur, Senior Management Advisor and Head of Accounting and Financial Management at the Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), as the resource person. The program was presided over by CUET IQAC Additional Director Professor Dr. Md. Sanaul Rabbi and moderated by IQAC Section Officer Mr. Md. Imran Hossain.
Following the training, certificates were distributed to the participants.
