Samsung Bangladesh Launches Galaxy A18 LTE

Samsung Bangladesh has introduced the Galaxy A18 LTE, a new addition to its popular Galaxy A series in the local market. The smartphone combines AI-powered features, a multi-camera setup and long-term software and security support. It is available at Samsung-authorised stores across the country.

The device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its flat, streamlined design and display are intended to deliver vibrant colours and smoother visuals when watching videos, playing games or scrolling through social media.

For photography, the Galaxy A18 LTE has a triple rear camera system comprising a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A 13-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.

AI features and convenient search

The smartphone supports multiple AI agents designed to make everyday tasks easier. It also includes an enhanced version of Circle to Search, allowing users to mark an image, song or text displayed on the screen by drawing a circle around it and search for related information online without switching to a separate screen or app.

Durability and personal data protection

The Galaxy A18 LTE carries an IP64 rating, which helps protect the device against dust and water splashes during everyday use. The rating does not mean the phone is designed to be submerged in water.

Samsung has committed to providing six major operating system (OS) upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The extended software support is a notable feature for users seeking continued updates and security assistance over the phone’s lifecycle.

For the protection of sensitive personal information, the device includes Samsung Knox Vault, a dedicated hardware-based security system designed to help safeguard important private data.
