Integrating AI-assisted methodology, indexing standards, and international funding assessment protocols, Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a comprehensive workshop titled "Research and Grant Writing Excellence". The initiative was jointly arranged by the 'Office of the Advisor, Strategy & Innovation' and the 'Division of Research', with technical support from the 'Grant Writing Task Force' on Tuesday (22 September}.
Professor Dr. Gias U. Ahsan, Advisor for Strategy and Innovation and Public Health expert, facilitated the main session as the keynote trainer. Drawing from his extensive background in securing and managing national and international research grants, he highlighted strategies for crafting competitive proposals, aligning with donor priorities, structuring multidisciplinary teams, formulating methodology, and designing realistic budgets.
Chaired by the Director of the Division of Research, the session saw active participation from 162 registered faculty members. University management expects this practical training to significantly enhance institutional research output and empower academics to secure global research funding.
