The three-day Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 has begun at Novo Theatre in Bijoy Sarani, Dhaka, bringing together new technologies, artificial intelligence projects and innovations from young creators. A major technology attraction at the fair is Daffodil’s four agentic AI-powered products, designed to automate education, human resource management and executive decision-making.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the fair on Saturday, September 12. Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and implemented by the National Museum of Science and Technology, the event is being held under the theme “Innovate to Market.”
More than 100 individual innovators and startup founders are showcasing over 1,000 environmentally friendly and emerging technologies. Government and private research organizations, 73 public and private universities, independent researchers, students, startups, small and medium enterprises and global investors are also participating.
The fair focuses on building sustainable partnerships among local innovators and innovation-driven organizations, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, educational institutions, financial institutions and development partners.
The venue saw a strong turnout from students, technology enthusiasts and members of the public from different parts of Dhaka from the opening of the fair. Exhibitions featuring robotics, artificial intelligence and environmentally friendly technologies developed by university and research students drew particular attention.
Daffodil has brought four AI agent-driven products to the fair. “Eduvas” is an education and operations management system designed to automate activities across educational institutions.
Its “AI Professor” software uses artificial intelligence to create interactive learning between teachers and students. The product aims to make learning more technology-driven and responsive to users.
For modern human resource management, Daffodil is showcasing “Perfect HR.” The software supports automated CV screening, video interview analysis and employee performance analysis. It is designed to support decisions on promotions and salary increments while also predicting the potential departure of skilled employees.
Daffodil is also showcasing its “Leadership Operating System (OS)” or CEO Dashboard. Using agentic AI, the system can analyze organizational data on a single screen, allowing CEOs and decision-makers to review information and make faster decisions.
Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, Joint Director of Daffodil Group, said the company’s main objective is to build agentic AI that can reduce the time required for daily operations, sales, procurement and HR analytics and increase workplace efficiency.
Visitors praised the innovative work of young people at the fair. They expressed hope that these technologies would contribute to the development of Bangladesh’s technology and agriculture sectors as well as other areas of the economy.
AI and technology-based projects developed through both public and private initiatives have also attracted significant attention. Connecting such innovations with research, industry and markets to move them toward real-world applications remains a key objective of the fair.
