Akij Aviation Launches Helicopter Service
Akij Aviation Limited, a subsidiary of Akij Group, has launched commercial helicopter services targeting Bangladesh's corporate, business travel, tourism, and industrial sectors. The company has shared three phone numbers for personal travel, medical services, and emergency patient transport: 01713-488404, 01713-488405, and 01713-488406.
According to sources, a free air ambulance service is already operational to ensure emergency healthcare for the poor and helpless people in the Khulna division. Akij Aviation operates this helicopter service under the supervision of Ad-Din Foundation.
Akij Aviation initially launched this service with three helicopters. One Bell-505 model helicopter has been added for patient transport, and two Robinson-66 model helicopters for passenger services.
In a press release issued on Saturday, July 25, Akij Aviation Limited stated that the service is managed by experienced pilots and a skilled aviation team to ensure maximum safety while reaching destinations quickly across various parts of the country.
Akij Aviation authorities noted that industrialists and businesspeople are increasingly using helicopters for rapid transit and urgent needs. Additionally, demand for helicopters in Bangladesh has grown for urgent rescue operations in remote areas, transporting critically ill patients, emergency travel, film or drama shootings, political leaders' tours, carrying wedding parties, or personal travel. Therefore, Akij Aviation Limited pledges to always be available for safe and time-saving journeys for special needs.
