According to his statement, comments originally made during an interview discussing personal experiences and emotions were later presented alongside unrelated video content, creating a different interpretation from the original context.
He said his legal advisers and digital support team have already started collecting information related to the accounts and materials involved and are reviewing how the content was distributed.
The actor also noted that he has communicated with cybercrime-related authorities and was advised to complete initial legal procedures before pursuing further action.
Referring more broadly to digital content practices, he said presenting public figures’ statements outside their original context can contribute to misinformation and undermine trust in online platforms.
He emphasised the importance of accountability mechanisms and responsible content practices to reduce misleading and harmful information in digital spaces.
