Roundtable Highlights Youth Potential Ahead of BPO Summit in Chattogram

A roundtable discussion titled “Round Table with Future Leaders” was held ahead of the upcoming “BPO Summit Bangladesh 2026 (Chattogram),” jointly organized by the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) and the Business Promotion Council (BPC) under the Ministry of Commerce.

Representatives from university-based career organizations, student groups, leadership forums, Leo Clubs, youth clubs and educational institutions from across Chattogram participated in the discussion.

The meeting focused on youth skill development, technology-driven employment opportunities, the potential of the BPO and IT-enabled services (ITES) industries, the expansion of the regional digital economy and ways to connect young people with the global job market.

Participants highlighted that Chattogram’s large youth population, universities and growing technology-based initiatives could help transform the region into one of the country’s leading outsourcing and digital service hubs.

The objectives and planned activities of the “BPO Summit Bangladesh 2026 (Chattogram)” were also discussed in detail. Participants noted that such initiatives can help increase awareness among young people about career development and emerging employment opportunities.

Speakers emphasized the importance of strengthening technological skills, communication capabilities and innovative thinking among youth to enable them to compete effectively in the international marketplace.

AW Communications Founder Saber Shah attended the event and spoke about the importance of youth skill development, leadership growth and technology-driven employment. He also stressed the need for greater youth participation in the BPO and ITES sectors and engagement with global opportunities.

Organizers said the “BPO Summit Bangladesh 2026 (Chattogram)” will be held on June 20 at Khulshi Convention Hall under the theme “Where Talent Meets Global Opportunity.” The summit will feature a career expo, policy dialogue, university activation programs, BPO Olympiad, roundtable discussions, seminars and networking events.
