bKash Launches ‘Game Zone’ Feature in App
bKash has launched the ‘Game Zone’ feature within its app, enabling users to play more than 100 games, join online tournaments, and access the new football-themed game ‘Hamza Versus World’.
Mobile financial service provider bKash has introduced a new feature called ‘Game Zone’ in its app, allowing users to play games and participate in online tournaments without downloading or installing any separate application.
According to bKash, users can access the gaming platform directly by clicking the ‘Game Zone’ icon on the app’s home screen. The platform offers a variety of games across categories including racing, action, arcade, adventure, sports, and puzzles.
In addition to casual gaming, the platform will host regular tournaments, enabling users to take part in competitive gaming at their preferred time. Participants will also have opportunities to win different prizes through these competitions.
The feature was formally launched at a hotel in the capital recently. The inauguration ceremony was attended by 16 footballers from the Bangladesh national men’s and women’s football teams, along with bKash Chief Product and Technology Officer Azmal Huda.
During the event, a new football-themed game titled ‘Hamza Versus World’ was also introduced. Users can play the game for one taka by using a coupon within the bKash app. The game allows players to take on the role of Hamza and compete against their preferred opposing team on a virtual football field.
Any bKash app user can access Game Zone through weekly or monthly subscription packages. Once subscribed, users can play more than 100 games from different merchants. Subscribers can also cancel their subscriptions at any time directly from the Game Zone section of the app.
