Haier Unveils Flagship X9 Washer-Dryer Series in Dhaka
Global home appliance brand Haier has unveiled its flagship X9 Series premium all-in-one washer-dryer at a grand event in Dhaka. The new model (HWD140-BPD14387GNU1) is being introduced to the local market with the support of electronics retail company Transcom Digital.
Ahead of International Women’s Day, the new version of the electric clothes-drying appliance was formally launched at a premium showroom in the capital. During the event, officials said the machine features Ultra Fresh Air Technology, which uses a separate motor to circulate air inside the drum, helping clothes remain fresh for extended periods.
The appliance also incorporates Smart Dosing, Essence Wash, and Dual Spray technologies, ensuring hygienic cleanliness with every wash. With built-in Wi-Fi capability, users can remotely control the machine through the HaiSmart app.
On Sunday, 8 March, Haier stated that the X9 Series, designed with advanced aesthetics and AI-based technology, will set a new benchmark in Bangladesh’s washing machine market. It features a vibrant Color AI Display and AI Wash technology, which analyzes the type and weight of clothes to automatically determine the most suitable washing cycle.
Speaking at the launch event, Wang Xiangjing, Deputy Managing Director of Haier Bangladesh, said the X9 Series represents a significant example of innovation in Haier’s laundry technology. Through its partnership with Transcom Digital, the company will be able to deliver world-class, AI-driven laundry technology to customers in Bangladesh.
Rashedul Islam, Head of Business at Transcom Digital, said the premium washer-dryer from Haier is an important addition to the company’s product portfolio. He also noted that customers will receive enhanced service and the benefit of a lifetime motor warranty.
Haier added that the premium washer-dryer, combining large capacity, elegant design, and modern smart technology, is now available at Transcom Digital showrooms across the country.
