On the third day of the ongoing Digital Device & Innovation Expo at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, visitors flocked to the venue in large numbers. From Friday afternoon, a significant crowd was observed across the exhibition grounds. Many attendees showed interest in purchasing products due to the availability of affordable prices and special offers.

Fazlul Karim, a freelance graphic designer from Keraniganj, visited the expo with his family, including his wife and two children. He said he came primarily to spend quality time with his family, but he was also considering buying some gadgets, including headphones, due to the attractive offers and comparatively lower prices. He appreciated the overall organization of the expo.

Two students from Cantonment, Ramisa and Rabia, shared that they purchased a mobile phone and an air fryer. This was Rabia’s first visit to the expo, and she described her experience as very positive. She particularly liked the expo’s decoration. According to Ramisa, the exhibition showcased various innovative designs, and the product prices were reasonable.

Kazi Monsur Akhtar, a teacher at Nirjhar Cantonment Public School, noted that the expo provided the convenience of comparing multiple brands at one location, making it easier to choose products. He also found the concept of the air purifier displayed in the innovative zone particularly appealing.

Agronomist Tauhiduzzaman, who came from Agargaon, expressed admiration for the overall organization of the expo. He was especially impressed by the robot designed for soil testing displayed in the innovative zone, considering it a promising technology.

Sellers also reported satisfaction with the event. TekTime director Nur Nabi Kabir said their company received better responses than expected, and even as first-time participants, they achieved good branding. Various gadgets, including earbuds, power banks, smartwatches, and speakers, were sold successfully.

Mostofa Shawkat Irfan, Digital Marketing Manager for global brands, noted that their 15 brands were displayed across 11 stalls. Although the first two days saw relatively low engagement, the third day experienced a significant increase in both visitor turnout and sales. He believes the expo provided a valuable opportunity to reach target customers.

Abdus Salam Khan, Product Manager of Acer Gadgets at Computer City Technologies Ltd., said that as a distributor, their primary goal was to present products to visitors, which was successfully achieved. Some gadgets were also sold during the exhibition.

According to the organizers, the strong turnout of visitors and buyers demonstrates the positive reception of the expo among tech enthusiasts. With a combination of new technologies, innovative concepts, and affordable products, the exhibition is expected to play a significant role in raising technology awareness and expanding the market in the future.
