Realme Teases 10,001mAh Battery Behemoth Smartphone
Realme has once again sparked discussion in the smartphone market with developments around its massive-battery handset. In May this year, the company showcased a prototype featuring a 10,000mAh battery and hinted that a commercial version would arrive soon. Until now, Realme’s largest battery smartphone topped out at 7,000mAh, including its flagship GT 8 Pro. The information was reported by GSMArena.
Fresh momentum has come from Russia, where the chief editor of a technology blog shared an image revealing key details of an unreleased Realme device. The smartphone, carrying the model number RMX5107, is shown to feature a 10,001mAh battery—1mAh larger than the recently unveiled Honor Win and Win RT models.
According to the leaked information, the phone will run on Realme UI 7.0 and is expected to ship with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additional memory variants may be introduced at a later stage.
Sources further claim that the device has already received Hi-Res Audio certification and is currently undergoing regulatory approval for sale in Russia. This suggests that Realme may officially unveil its battery-focused smartphone within the next few weeks.
