BCS Computer City Celebrates 26th Anniversary with Ceremony and Commitment
The 26th founding anniversary of the country’s largest IT marketplace, BCS Computer City, located at the IDB Bhaban in Dhaka, was celebrated on Thursday, September 11, through a festive program featuring reminiscences and discussions on future plans.
The daylong celebration saw participation from leading global technology brands such as Acer, Dell, Lenovo, Gigabyte, and PC Power, along with several other international names. Local tech enterprises, including Excel Technologies Limited, Smart Technologies, and Global Brand Private Limited, were also represented at the event.
Speakers at the anniversary discussion included Fazlul Bari Liton, Vice President of the City IT Committee; Zahidul Alam, Joint Secretary; Moshihur Rahman Raju, Secretary of Publicity and Publications; Anowar Ur Rahman, IT Secretary; Mosleuddin Farid, Treasurer; well-wisher Bhuiyan Inam Lelin; as well as Zafar Ahmed and Mujahid Al Beruni Sujan, Directors of Smart Technologies, alongside representatives of various global brands in Bangladesh.
