Multilingual channel offers instant guidance for pilgrims at the two holy mosques
Saudi Simplifies Support: Special WhatsApp for Hajj

The Saudi government has launched a special WhatsApp channel for pilgrims visiting Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina. The service will be available in Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Turkish, Malay, and Chinese. Pilgrims can access it by saving the number +966125746236 and sending a message via WhatsApp.
The service is based solely on received information, and human chat or personal solutions are not available. In complex cases, pilgrims are advised to call the toll-free number for assistance.
According to the Saudi government, “This official WhatsApp channel will enhance the worshippers’ experience and provide instant support for pilgrims at the two holy mosques.”
The initiative aims to facilitate communication with international pilgrims, ensuring they can access information about religious rituals and the locations of various mosque facilities in their own languages.
Previously, an app named Masjid an-Nabawi Status of Prayer Place was developed for Medina’s mosque, available in Arabic, English, and Urdu.
