Class Eleven Chaos: Admission Website Woes Worry Students
The first phase results for admission into the 11th grade for the 2025-26 academic session have been published. The results were released on Wednesday, August 20, at 6:30 PM on the central admission website (www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd).
However, immediately after the results were published, the central admission website went down, causing inconvenience for aspiring students and their guardians.
Upon trying to access the website, users are seeing a message stating, “The system has been temporarily closed for maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Plabon, a student seeking college admission, said, “After hearing about the result publication, I tried to access the website. But it keeps showing loading repeatedly, and I cannot see the result. I am in distress because of this.”
Members of the 11th grade admission committee confirmed the issue and said efforts are underway to resolve it. Professor Md. Rizaul Haque, College Inspector of the Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, told reporters, “The website went down due to simultaneous access by several hundred thousand users. We are trying to resolve the issue in coordination with a specialist team from BUET.”
