British Council and Ten Minute School Partner for English Proficiency Tests
To make quality English language assessment tests more accessible to students across Bangladesh, the British Council and Ten Minute School signed an agreement on Tuesday, 19 August. Under this partnership, Ten Minute School learners will now be able to take the British Council’s internationally recognized Primary English Test and Secondary English Test.
Representing the British Council at the signing ceremony were Maxim Raymann, Country Exams Director Bangladesh; Tahni Yasmin, Head of Business Development; Tabassum Chowdhury, Account Manager, English and Exams; and Raunak Jahan Nabila, Technical Support Officer.
On behalf of Ten Minute School, attendees included Chief Executive Ayman Sadiq; Program and Partnership Lead Shams Asif Chowdhury; Program Manager Mohammad Risan; and Business and Operations Lead Abhipsu Das Gupta.
Speaking on the partnership, Ten Minute School’s Program and Partnership Lead Shams Asif Chowdhury said, “Our partnership with the British Council will make educational achievements more transparent and meaningful. By introducing the Primary English Test and Secondary English Test, we are helping students demonstrate their true potential while giving parents a clear understanding of their child’s progress.”
Echoing this sentiment, British Council Bangladesh’s Exams Director Maxim Raymann remarked, “This partnership marks an important milestone in expanding access to English language assessment for students in Bangladesh. By working with Ten Minute School, we will be able to reach more learners across both urban and rural areas. Our internationally recognized tests will help students improve their practical language skills, empowering them to pursue academic and professional success with confidence.”
