Tech-Tourism Trifecta: ICCB to Host Grand Expo on Agriculture, Health, and Travel

A three-day international exhibition focusing on agriculture, healthcare, and tourism technology is set to open on May 8 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The event will feature Meditex, Health Tourism Expo, and a food and agri-tech showcase, promising a multifaceted display of innovation and global industry presence. The expo will remain open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
This integrated exhibition will bring together cutting-edge medical equipment, health and wellness tourism solutions, and agricultural technology including organic, chemical-free food products. Industry players and service providers from relevant sectors are expected to present a wide range of products and innovations to the public.
A press conference held at the Gulshan Link Road office of SEMS Bangladesh detailed that more than 350 companies from over 15 countries, including Bangladesh, India, China, UAE, Thailand, South Korea, and Sri Lanka, will participate in the event with over 500 booths. The organizers stated that the exhibition aims to serve as a “one-stop platform” for both buyers and sellers in the related industries.
Speaking at the press conference were Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of SEMS Global USA and Asia Pacific; Tanvir Kamrul Islam, Executive Director of SEMS Global; and Mahmud Riyad Hasan, Head of Marketing and Sales of SEMS Bangladesh.
The health sector focus of the exhibition will feature the “16th Meditex Bangladesh 2025 International Expo”, showcasing medical devices, surgical and dental equipment, hospital tools, and healthcare services. Simultaneously, the “9th Bangladesh Clinical Lab Expo 2025” and the “11th Pharma Bangladesh 2025 International Expo” will also be held under the same roof.
In addition, the “8th International Health Tourism and Services Expo Bangladesh 2025” will highlight health tourism, advanced medical services, and partnerships with both local and international hospitals and physicians.
On the agricultural and food technology front, the “8th Food Bangladesh International Expo 2025”, “8th Agro Bangladesh International Expo 2025”, “8th Poultry and Livestock Bangladesh International Expo 2025”, and the “5th Food Pack Expo 2025” will be held simultaneously. These expos will showcase food and beverage products, packaging solutions, and state-of-the-art technologies from more than 250 companies representing over 12 countries, including Germany.
A major highlight of the “8th Agro Bangladesh International Expo 2025” will be the “Agro Bangladesh Global Gateway”, organized with support from the Netherlands Embassy, in partnership with SEMS Global and BYETS (Building Youth Employability Through Skills), and implemented by Swisscontact. This premier co-event aims to enhance global business networking, accelerate innovation, and serve as a sustainable growth portal for Bangladesh’s agriculture sector. Organizers believe it will significantly assist small and medium enterprises involved in agro-processing to connect with the global market.
Additionally, a Coffee Fest will run during the “8th Food Bangladesh International Expo 2025”, featuring coffee beans, coffee machinery, and a barista competition.
