Cricket Crisis: BCB Calls Critical Conference
Amid recent controversies, the cricketing arena remains heated. To seek resolutions, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has convened an emergency meeting online. The meeting will be held on Sunday at 4:00 PM via the Zoom platform.
It has been reported that issues such as allegations of financial irregularities, umpiring concerns, and tensions between the board, clubs, and players may be discussed in today's session. A BCB source stated, "Allegations of financial irregularities, umpiring, and other controversial matters will be discussed at the meeting."
Earlier, on 24 March, the BCB had scheduled a meeting which was later canceled following the cardiac incident suffered by Tamim Iqbal. Since then, although many matters have come under discussion over the past month, the BCB has yet to resolve them.
